BitDefender Management Agent is the endpoint service that connects a device to the Bitdefender GravityZone management platform. It enables centralized administration by downloading and enforcing security policies, installing and updating protection modules, executing remote tasks such as scans and updates, and reporting telemetry, alerts, and status back to the console. The agent runs continuously in the background and communicates securely with Bitdefender cloud services or an on‑premises GravityZone server over HTTPS.
